NCC.OP.105 Specification of isolated aerodromes – aeroplanes Regulation (EU) 2021/1296 For the selection of alternate aerodromes and the fuel/energy planning and in-flight re-planning policy, the operator shall not consider an aerodrome as an isolated aerodrome unless the flying time to the nearest weather-permissible destination alternate aerodrome is more than: (a) for aeroplanes with reciprocating engines, 60 minutes; or (b) for turbine-engined aeroplanes, 90 minutes.
