GM2 CAT.GEN.MPA.141(b) Use of electronic flight bags (EFBs) ED Decision 2019/008/R HUMAN-MACHINE INTERFACE (HMI) FOR TYPE A EFB APPLICATIONS An HMI assessment is not required for a type A EFB application. However, type A EFB applications should be designed in accordance with the human factor principles in order to minimise their impacts on crew workload.
