AMC2 ORO.FC.230 Recurrent training and checking ED Decision 2014/017/R FLIGHT ENGINEERS (a) The recurrent training and checking for flight engineers should meet the requirements for pilots and any additional specific duties, omitting those items that do not apply to flight engineers. (b) Recurrent training and checking for flight engineers should, whenever possible, take place concurrently with a pilot undergoing recurrent training and checking. (c) The line check should be conducted by a commander or by a flight engineer nominated by the operator, in accordance with national rules, if applicable.
