CS 27.783 Doors ED Decision 2018/007/R (a) Each closed cabin must have at least one adequate and easily accessible external door. (b) Each external door must be located where persons using it will not be endangered by the rotors, propellers, engine intakes and exhausts when appropriate operating procedures are used. If opening procedures are required, they must be the marked inside, on or adjacent to the door opening device. (c) If certification with ditching provisions is requested by the applicant, any non-jettisonable doors intended for use after a ditching must have means to enable them to be secured in the open position and remain secure for emergency egress in all sea conditions for which ditching capability is requested by the applicant.
