SAO.GEN.135 Responsibilities of crew members Regulation (EU) 2018/1976 (a) Any crew member shall be responsible for the proper execution of his or her duties in respect of the operation of the sailplane. (b) Any crew member shall not perform duties on a sailplane when incapacitated by any cause, including injury, sickness, medication, fatigue or the effects of any psychoactive substance, or if he or she feels otherwise unfit. (c) Any crew member shall report to the pilot-in-command both of the following: (1) any fault, failure, malfunction or defect, which he or she believes may affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the sailplane, including emergency systems; (2) any incident.
