MED.D.040 Requirements for occupational health medical practitioners Regulation (EU) 2019/27 In Member States where the competent authority is satisfied that the requirements of the national health system applicable to occupational health medical practitioners (OHMPs) are such as to ensure compliance with the requirements of this Annex (Part-MED) applicable to OHMPs, OHMPs may conduct aero-medical assessments of cabin crew, provided that: (a) they are fully qualified and licensed in the practice of medicine and qualified in occupational medicine; (b) the in-flight working environment and safety duties of the cabin crew were included in their occupational medicine qualification syllabus or other training or operational experience; (c) they have notified the competent authority before starting such activity.
