SCALING OF THE MEANS FOR MEASURING AND DISPLAYING PRESSURE ALTITUDE
(a) The instrument measuring and displaying
pressure altitude should be of a sensitive type, scaled in metres (m), with a
sub-scale setting, scaled in hectopascals/millibars, adjustable for any
barometric pressure likely to be set during flight.
(b) Scaling in feet (ft) is also acceptable.
