The term âchange to the design of an aircraft which was subject to a declarationâ is used in Part 21 Light Subpart F, as well as in the related AMC and GM, to refer to any changes to the elements of the aircraft design data as defined in point 21L.A.46. Therefore, a declaration of design compliance should be required for any changes to the aircraft design data defined in point 21L.A.46.
