M.A.301 Continuing airworthiness

The aircraft
continuing airworthiness and the serviceability of operational and emergency
equipment shall be ensured by:
(a)Β Β Β Β the accomplishment of pre-flight
inspections;
(b)Β Β Β Β the rectification of any defect and damage
affecting safe operation in accordance with data specified in points M.A.304 and
M.A.401, as
applicable, while taking into account the minimum equipment list (βMELβ) and
configuration deviation list, when they exist;
(c)Β Β Β Β Β the accomplishment of all maintenance in
accordance with the AMP referred to in point M.A.302;
(d)Β Β Β Β the release of all maintenance in
accordance with Subpart H;
(e)Β Β Β Β for all complex motor-powered aircraft or
aircraft used by air carriers licensed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No
1008/2008, the analysis of the effectiveness of the approved AMP referred to
in point M.A.302;
(f)Β Β Β Β Β the accomplishment of any applicable:
(1)Β Β Β Β airworthiness directive (AD);
(2)Β Β Β Β operational directive with a continuing
airworthiness impact;
(3)Β Β Β Β continuing airworthiness requirement
established by the Agency;
(4)Β Β Β Β measures required by the competent
authority in immediate reaction to a safety problem;
(g)Β Β Β Β the accomplishment of modifications and
repairs in accordance with point M.A.304;
(h)Β Β Β Β delivering to the pilot-in-command, or to
the operator in the case of air carriers licensed in accordance with
Regulation (EC) No 1008/2008, the mass and balance statement reflecting the
current configuration of the aircraft;
(i)Β Β Β Β Β maintenance check flights, when
necessary.
Ensure aircraft continuing airworthiness through pre-flight checks, defect rectification using approved data, and scheduled maintenance. Comply with airworthiness directives, modifications, and repairs. Analyze maintenance program effectiveness for complex aircraft. Provide pilots with accurate weight and balance information. Perform maintenance check flights when needed.
