and endorsement lists are published by the Agency.
(d) Whenever (D) is indicated in one of the
lists mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (c), it indicates that differences
training in accordance with FCL.710 is required.
EASA aviation regulations define required pilot ratings for flying different aircraft. Single-engine piston (SEP) and multi-engine piston (MEP) aeroplanes (land/sea) necessitate class ratings. Specific endorsements cover variable pitch propellers, retractable undercarriage, and other features. Differences training is often mandatory. The agency publishes further rating and endorsement lists.
