TREND MONITORING OF RUNWAY SURFACE FRICTION CHARACTERISTICS

The aerodrome operator should monitor the trend of degradation of runway surface friction characteristics that is caused by:

(a) rubber deposits;

(b) surface polishing; and

(c) poor drainage.
