Tropical cyclone advisory centre responsibilities

In its
area of responsibility, the TCAC shall issue:
(a) advisory information concerning the
position of the cyclone centre, changes in intensity at the time of
observation, its direction and speed of movement, central pressure and maximum
surface wind near the centre;
(b) updated advisory information to
meteorological watch offices for each tropical cyclone, as necessary, but at
least every 6 hours.
