(a)Ā Ā Ā Ā The existing formats for the exchange of electronic terrain datasets do not fully meet the requirements of the ISO 19100 series on geographic information, therefore the GeoTIFF format and Shape file with metadata is preferred.
(b)Ā Ā Ā Ā The list of most used terrain formats can be found in Appendix D to the EUROCONTROL āTerrain and Obstacle Data (TOD) Manualā (edition 2.2, dated 28 November 2019).
