TYPES OF EMERGENCIES

At least the following types of emergencies may be considered:

(a)     aircraft emergencies;

(b)     natural phenomena (e.g. extreme weather conditions);

(c)      acts of terrorism;

(d)     loss of the ability to communicate with the aircraft; and

(e)     loss of the air traffic services unit.
