AMC2 ATS.OR.205(b)(4) Safety
assessment and assurance of changes to the functional system
ED
Decision 2020/008/R
When
the risk evaluation results show that the safety criteria cannot be satisfied,
then the air traffic services provider should either abandon the change or
propose additional means of mitigating the risk. If risk mitigation is
proposed, then the air traffic services provider should ensure that it identifies:
(a) all of the elements of the functional
system, e.g. training, procedures that need to be reconsidered; and
(b) for each part of the amended change, those
parts of the safety assessment (requirements from (1) to (6) listed
in ATS.OR.205(b)) that need to be repeated in order to
demonstrate that the safety criteria will be satisfied.
