(a)ย ย ย ย ย ย The AIP, AIP amendments and AIP supplements shall be provided as an โelectronic AIPโ (eAIP). The eAIP shall allow for displaying on computer screen and printing on paper. In addition, the AIP, AIP amendments and AIP supplements may also be provided on paper.
(b)ย ย ย ย ย ย The AIP shall include:
(1)ย ย ย ย ย ย a statement of the competent authority responsible for the air navigation facilities, services or procedures covered by the AIP;
(2)ย ย ย ย ย ย the general conditions under which the services or facilities are available for use;
(3)ย ย ย ย ย ย a list of significant differences between the regulations and practices of the Member State and the related ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SAPRs) and Procedures;
(4)ย ย ย ย ย ย the choice made by a Member State in each significant case where an alternative course of action is provided for in the ICAO SARPs and procedures.
(c)ย ย ย ย ย ย The AIP shall contain information related to, and arranged under, the subject headings listed in Appendix 1.
(d)ย ย ย ย ย ย The issuing Member State and AIS provider shall be clearly indicated.
(e)ย ย ย ย ย ย When two or more Member States jointly provide an AIP, they shall be clearly indicated.
(f)ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Each AIP shall be self-contained and include a table of contents.
(g)ย ย ย ย ย ย An AIP shall be organised in three parts (GEN, ENR and AD), sections and subsections, except when the AIP, or a volume of the AIP, is designed to facilitate operational use in- flight, in which case the precise format and arrangement may be left to the discretion of the Member State provided that an adequate table of contents is included.
(h)ย ย ย ย ย ย Each AIP shall be dated.
(i)ย ย ย ย ย ย ย The date, consisting of the day, month (by name), and year, shall be the publication date and/or the effective date (AIRAC) of the information.
(j)ย ย ย ย ย ย ย When describing periods of activity, availability or operation, the applicable days and times shall be specified.
(k)ย ย ย ย ย ย Each AIP issued as a printed volume and each page of an AIP issued in a loose-leaf form shall be annotated to clearly indicate:
(1)ย ย ย ย ย ย the identity of the AIP;
(2)ย ย ย ย ย ย the territory covered and its subdivisions, when necessary;
(3)ย ย ย ย ย ย the identification of the issuing Member State and producing organisation (authority); and
(4)ย ย ย ย ย ย page numbers/chart titles.
(l)ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Any amendment to the printed volume of the AIP shall be made using replacement sheets.
Aeronautical Information Publications (AIP) must be available electronically (eAIP) for display and printing, and may also be provided on paper. AIPs must include authority details, service conditions, differences from ICAO standards, and follow a defined structure with clear identification, dates, and operational information. Jointly provided AIPs must indicate all involved member states.
