ATCO.D.050 Prerequisites
of unit training

Unit training may only be started by persons who are holders of:
(a) a student air traffic controller licence with the appropriate rating and, if applicable, rating endorsement; or
(b) an air traffic controller licence with the appropriate rating and, if applicable, rating endorsement;
provided that the requirements set out in ATCO.B.001(d) and ATCO.B.010(b) are met.

Provided that the requirements
set out in points ATCO.B.001(d), ATCO.B.005(e) and ATCO.B.010(b) are met:
(a) unit training may only be started by persons who have
successfully completed initial training relevant to the rating and, if
applicable, rating endorsement;
(b) the on-the-job training phase of unit training may only be
started by persons who are holders of a student air traffic controller licence
or an air traffic controller licence with the appropriate rating and, if
applicable, rating endorsement.
