HEMS TECHNICAL CREW
MEMBER OBSERVATION FLIGHTS
If the candidate HEMS crew
member has no flight experience as technical crew member, flight crew member
or student pilot in day VMC, night VMC or IMC, the operator may provide
observation flights on HEMS missions in day/night VMC and IMC as relevant,
prior to the helicopter/FSTD training, once the ground training and checking
of the conversion course has been completed, as part of the detailed training
syllabus defined in SPA.HEMS.130(f)(1).
