M.A.307 Transfer of aircraft continuing airworthiness records Regulation (EU) 2019/1383 (a) When an aircraft is permanently transferred from one owner or operator to another, the transferring owner or operator shall ensure that the continuing airworthiness records referred to in point [M.A.305](#_DxCrossRefBm1518544975) and, if applicable the technical log system referred to in point [M.A.306](#_DxCrossRefBm1518544921), are also transferred. (b) When the owner contracts the continuing airworthiness management tasks to a CAMO or CAO, the owner shall ensure that the continuing airworthiness records referred to in point [M.A.305](#_DxCrossRefBm1518544975) are transferred to that contracted organisation. (c) The time periods for the retention of records set out in point (e) of point [M.A.305](#_DxCrossRefBm1518544975) shall continue to apply to the new owner, operator, CAMO or CAO.
