CS 29.63 Take-off: Category B ED Decision 2003/16/RM The horizontal distance required to take-off and climb over a 15 m (50-foot) obstacle must be established with the most unfavourable centre of gravity. The take-off may be begun in any manner if – (a) The take-off surface is defined; (b) Adequate safeguards are maintained to ensure proper centre of gravity and control positions; and (c) A landing can be made safely at any point along the flight path if an engine fails.
